W10 shop and X1 isn't really much to talk about when it comes to crossplay.

Unfortunately this doesn't include Steam, but and then again the game is pretty much dead there likewise. I don't know what the size of the Xbox community looks like, only I'll probably catch it at a good discount for play anywhere support.

I mean it'south for the Windows Shop version but so meh
And so is Killer Instinct (ranked matchmaking), I mean I detest Windows Store just as much as anyone else, but I'thou actually considering ownership fighting games exclusively on information technology if this hopefully becomes a standard characteristic in third party fighting games.

Surprised that DBFZ doesn't support it.

I am fairly certain that the community on PS4 is withal bigger than X1/PC. I don't accept much trouble finding matches when I hop on.

I mean it doesn't seem like the shared pool of players is gonna amount to anything substantial as a base anyways in this example.

It does non support play between XB1 and PC...

Xbox Play Anywhere, ways with the aforementioned license, you can play either in PC or Xbox 1, the adequacy of Xbox Live Cantankerous Platform Multiplayer is what does crossplay betwixt PC and XB1 here is the difference on those from the MS Store for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and Killer Instinct

Oh wow, I'm aware of what Play Anywhere means, but I googled information technology and constitute sources who reported the news that it supported cross-play and I took their words for it :P
I judge that this means people who purchase it on the Windows Store are but playing information technology with those... on Windows? So information technology's probably even deader than the Steam version which is already a rotten corpse.

Cheers for the confirmation however, I'll encounter if a modernistic can alter this championship.

Google says this is a rumor from by someone on the Steam hub for the game.

This is a completely unsubstantiated rumor. While I don't doubt that if back up for the game has ceased it will exist delisted at some betoken, information technology would probably exist more than likely around two years afterward release, and the servers would still be functional. Heck, you can yet play the PS3/360 MvC2 online these days.

DasVergeben claimed to accept been hearing most an update for the game, despite earlier rumors. So who knows.

Thank you for the confirmation nonetheless, I'll come across if a mod can change this title.

if there is people that tin can prove information technology to take cross play, nosotros need to see, for case, KI lacks the Xbox icon on the windows store app description film that I posted, and lacks the Xbox One X enchanced, when is even the only 4k fighting game on console correct now

OP, your ii linked manufactures say it's a play anywhere championship. that ways you buy it in one case digitally on the windows store, and yous have admission to both XB1 and windows 10 copies of the game from your single purchase.

where does it say that xbox one players can play online with pc players?
